Best Drone Gimbals – quadcopter gopro stabilizers

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

If you have ever shot with a gopro camera on your drone, you know that it’s not that easy to get pro-looking videos.

The number one rule for most is the ability to have free flowing, silky smooth images.

A must-have, and the best way to achieve this, and get a stable video shot from your drone, is with a gimbal.

Drones obviously move about a lot while in the air, shakes, and the slightest blast of wind can turn great footage into amateur looking videos.

Gimbals will stabilize your gopro camera despite any movements the Drone might take, ensuring your film quality is picture perfect.

Deciding which Gimbal is the best for your needs depends on what type of footage you are trying to capture.

Drones can be used to survey land and countryside, and that type of imagery will require still motion shots, while filming let’s say a skiing or surfing video will certainly require a great Gimbal to keep your videos smooth.

There are many different types of Gimbals so we are going to advise you on the best ones for your Drones.

3DR Solo Gimbal

The 3-axis, brushless motor corrects itself for the pitch and roll motion, and allows for tilting of up to -130 to +45 degrees.

It can power from the flight battery without any compromise, and for the Phantom 2 installations it uses the Drones integrated GCU with an optional GCU that is sold separately for other models.

One thing to keep in mind, the H4-3D Gimbal can only be used for the GoPro HERO4 Black and will not work with the HERO3, HERO3+, and HERO4 Silver.

How about an axis gimbal for Habsun 501s

    1. topgimbals says

Hi, I believe that the drone you are talking about has an integrated camera, and is not designed to attach or use an external camera. Therefore it does not seem possible to add any stabilization to this drone.
