Here is my review of the Fotodiox Freeflight Moto handheld Gopro & smartphones Gimbal.
Thi stabilizer is primarily designed to be used with your latest smartphones such as Galaxy and Iphones and can also be used with the GoPro Hero camera.
Fotodiox built this hanheld Gimbal with three-axis stabilization (roll, tilt, and pan) motorized setting to combat shaky hand and camera movement, ensuring you have a professionally shot video.
It can be used for recording high speed events such as bike riding, Skateboarding or Skiing.
This particular Gimbal is designed to be used without any complicated rig setup or tripod.
Fotodiox did an ok job with the Freeflight Moto stabilizer giving you a personal control.
The Gimbal allows your GoPro camera or your Smartphone to copy the tilt and pan motion of your hand, whilst ensuring the horizon is straight and level.
It is really easy to setup, simply place your Smartphone on the “shelf”, ensure the stabilizer is level, and switch it on. It’s as simple as that!
The Freeflight Moto Gimbal also is equipped with a GoPro mounting frame that has easy access to the buttons once you’re in motion.
As the Gimbal is extremely compact, you can take it anywhere and be ready to go in a few minutes.
The battery life on this Gimbal is relatively low, and lasts around an hour of continuous shooting.
You should know that we found a few downsides to this stabilizer. One being that the Gimbal does have any modes to lock into place for certain angles.
We also found that it doesn’t have a lot of different features other Gopro Gimbals come with.
With that being said, the Handheld stabilizers that have mode locking and other features are usually more expensive.

Overall review
Overall, if you are looking for a Gimbal to shoot professionally with your Gopro, or smartphone, without looking for something too complex, then the Fotodiox Freeflight could be a good starting point.
Be aware that the battery life is around 1 hour of continuous use. If you are travelling with your gopro, or plan on shooting extended scenes, consider purchasing an extra battery. Any 18350 type battery will work.

I bought this for my Galaxy 7 Edge and once I added the mobile to gimbal, I noticed there was a vibration when I added the weight balance. It doesn’t balance my Galaxy all that well and seems to tilt to the left a little bit (no big issue). When I added my husbands Iphone 6s, It worked perfectly with and without the balance, maybe it is more designed for slightly smaller phones? Anyway, we are really happy with it, especially given the low price. It is ideal for filming birthdays, holidays and such.
