About the Gimbal

The Lanparte HHG-01 was the first handheld Gimbal to be compatible for the Iphone 6s.

The Gimbal comes with a great looking clamp to connect your smartphone really securely so that it gives you peace of mind that it isn’t going to fall off when filming action packed footage.

It also comes with a different type of clamp that can connect either GoPro Hero 3 or 4 cameras.

Once you have taken the device out of the box, and connected your camera, you are pretty much ready to go, as the firmware has already been added, so you won’t need to add anything until there are some updates for the Gimbal.

The Lanparte Gimbal helps your shoot really smooth, stable action with your smartphone or Hero device with only one hand.

As you can film with only one hand, this enables you to video almost anything from bike riding to skateboarding.

This Gimbal operates with a motorized 3 axis (tilt, roll and pan) brushless motors with an additional 6 axis inertial measurement unit that is designed to keep you device level at all times to combat the shakes you make when you are in action.

Real life use

The battery life on the Lanparte HHG-01 Gimbal is very good, we used it for at least 4 hours and the batteries didn’t give way.

The charging itself took between two and three hours before the device was fully charged.

You will find a LED light on the handle that lets you know when the batteries are running low.

This helps you make sure don’t run out of power while you are in the middle of some exciting action!

The Gimbal comes with an array of add-ons.

These include 3 different sized clamps for either older smartphones with smaller screens, or a larger clamp with the new Iphone 6 or Galaxy 6 screens.

There is also a very convenient protective carrying case so that you can take the Gimbal on your outings without being worried it is going to be damaged in transit.

The Gimbal also comes with a removable Lithium battery and charger.

The footage was butter smooth and extremely steady with no camera shakes whatsoever.

The battery life was really good and lasted us almost 4 hours on continuous usage.

The price is in the mid-range category as far as handheld Gimbals go.

The only slight issue we had was that you can hear the motors running, but that was when we was testing the device in a quiet room, so do not let that put you off.

Hi, to fit a gopro you need the clamp (sold separately), but I cannot confirm if it is compatible with the Hero 5. Gopro Hero 3, 4 yes.
